The article ā€œSurgeon asked colleagues why they chose the profession: Giants of the era respondedā€ in the September 2021 issue of the Bulletin incorrectly stated that Lieutenant Edward Revere Osler was the father of Sir William Osler. Lieutenant Osler was Dr. Oslerā€™s son. The Bulletin regrets the error.
